Our services

SCOTT PROPANE TANKS LLC provides high-quality new and refurbished propane tanks with flexible delivery schedules and volume discounts for commercial customers. We prioritize customer satisfaction with reliable supply, excellent service, and competitive pricing.

We coat the tanks with a specially formulated polyurethane enamel, developed in collaboration with H-I-S Paint to ensure superior corrosion protection, color retention, and durability. After pressure testing with propane and methanol treatment, tanks are equipped with steel domes and shipped securely on padded racks with foam-tied straps to avoid scuffing. We also provide touch-up paint in the customer’s selected color. While we aim for quick turnaround, please allow 30 days for completion.

Our flagship product is refurbished propane tanks, expertly restored to like-new condition.

Each tank undergoes meticulous inspection and refurbishment: trained technicians replace all valves with new ReGo valves (or rebuild multi-valves), install new volume gauges, and thoroughly clean the tanks. We blast away paint and rust using #40 steel shot, then use a metal pit gauge to confirm the tank’s compliance for rebuilding, inspecting it for defects. The manufacturer’s data plates are cleaned and sealed with protective marine varnish.

COMERCIAL SERVICES

SCOTT PROPANE TANKS LLC offers high-quality new and refurbished propane tanks with volume discounts for commercial clients. Due to high demand, we are operating on a waiting list to serve our regular customers and are committed to providing a steady supply of tanks.

Our inventory is regularly updated, offering various tank sizes and shapes, including standard top mount, side mount, and end mount tanks. Tank availability and manufacturer dates change frequently.

Refurbished tanks are thoroughly cleaned, shot-blasted, primed, and painted. We equip them with RegO® valves, service and lubricate gauges, and clean data plates. All tanks feature steel domes and undergo pressure testing and methanol treatment.

For deliveries, we include three hours of unloading time with paid freight. Additional unloading time will incur a fee of $150 per hour, payable directly to the driver.

Out-of-state orders require full payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) at least 10 days prior to pick-up or delivery. Delivery schedules are affected by EFT dates, existing delivery volumes, and weather conditions. We do not schedule deliveries or loading on Sundays.

Tanks must be picked up within 60 days of full payment, or a 1% weekly holding fee will apply unless delivery arrangements are made. Payments over $2,000 require EFT, and returned checks are subject to a 5% fee plus a 2% monthly charge on the original amount.

By paying in USD, the customer confirms the property is in good condition and accepts all responsibility for any legal actions in case of collection. After ownership transfer, neither the manufacturer nor SCOTT PROPANE TANKS LLC assumes liability for losses due to fire, theft, or any uncontrollable causes. New parts are warranted for one year. SCOTT PROPANE TANKS LLC retains ownership until tanks are received.
